Window gap at the corner
Hey folks need some help here with my 59 Chevy truck build. I'm in the process of removing rust by replacing the corners, steps and hinge pillar pockets and have noticed that there's a gap at the lower corner of the windshield on the passenger side.
I've completed the drivers side and didn't notice weather the gap was there when I started the passenger side. The step and all the front corner have been removed and I don't know what the hell I was thinking but I didn't brace the cab before cutting the parts out. Now I'm looking at a gap on the lower corner of the windshield I can stick my finger in. The rubber is still on the glass. I really don't know what to do at this point or if it's a problem at all. Is this a trouble area that all 55 thru 59 trucks have? Or do I have a real problem that needs a fix right now? Any help would be great right now. |
