Sometimes its cheaper to spend more money. Starting fresh is the better choice. Chasing an electrical gremlin will cause you to lose your mind later on. Considering it would probably take 10 hours or so to redo a harness yourself if not longer. Wiring is time consuming especially when terminating harness connectors.
