Hey from NC

My current project is a 72 C-20 that I recently purchased from my father. This is my second Chevy truck, I had a 70 C -10 years ago and I have alot of fond memories of that truck. My plans for the 72 are to build a reliable DD, capable of safely pulling a car hauler and powered by a more modern power plant. I'm thinking along the lines of an LQ4 right now. The truck is currently road worthy with a healthy 350, a TH 350 tranny and FF Dana 60 4.10 ratio rear end. Gas mileage is about what you would expect with that setup. So far I've cleaned up the wiring harness, installed a one wire alternator, replaced the gone beyond hope heater core/blower with a Jegs Hot Rod heater/defrost kit. I also replaced the leaky cab mouted gas tank with an LMC under the bed kit. Next on the agenda, strip off the 64 layers of old paint and primer, replace the doors and rotten rocker panels. Wish me luck!
