1976 chevy 292 external coil hei tach wiring
I have a 76 c30 with a 292. It has a external coil and I have a tach I would like to hook up.
There are 3 wires currently connected. One is the main feed wire and two are going to the distributor leaving one left unused. Two going to distributor. Top view of coil showing the main feed wire(right top) and two going to distributor (bottom two) and the one unused terminal(by my finger). It makes sense that this one unused terminal is for a tach. But, I want to make 100% sure so I do not fry anything. Thanks for any help.
