Idle speed control for 1970 gmc (Idle walking)

Hello, I am brand new to these boards and not all that knowledgable on trucks. I am currently having issues with the idle speed on my 1970 GMC 250 straight six. It is in the processes of being put back together and I just wondering about what hoses go where, as I am unsure. It is a rochester monojet Carb and I am aware of the mixture and idle screw, but they do not seem to be helping all that much. Any input would be greatly appreciated as I have run out of ideas.
