saginaw shifter linkages I6 and V8 "is there a difference?????

Ok guys I got all the parts from TBONE "great guy" and I am currently moving my engine from the I6 to the V8 position, I got the correct trans cross member, engine stands, z bar and mounts, and clutch linkages. My last question is does anyone know if the column shift rods from the column to the trans are longer or shorter "different" or are they the same and I can use the I6 rods. I have went this far and if they are different I want the correct V8 ones.

Thanks ahead if anyone can help me with this.
