Air tanks + weld ?

Hi. got the tanks back from the paint shop a couple of days ago, looks like this:




And just for now attention has come to our mind that its never good to weld on air tanks cause they might cause an explosion if unlucky.

Do we trick ourselfs to using it or is the chances for it to explode minimal? Had no clue to worry about this, never heard it.
