6.0 swap advice

OK, so I was directed here for advice. I was given a good running 6.0 out of a 2004 2500 along with a 4L80E that needs to be rebuilt. I am debating whether I want to put it in my 71 or not. If I do, I know I will need a computer since I didn't get one with it. I did get the wiring harness and the DBW pedals. Where is the best place to get the computer (I am on a tight budget). Also, I want to go with a manual, what one is best. I was told probably a NV4500. Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks Danny
