My new 66 Suburban

I've been looking for this truck pretty much all my life, and I found it on ebay about a month ago. It took a month to get it home, from CA to MD.
It's a 1966 Suburban set up as a C20 with 4WD upgrades, a 454 engine, and factory A/C.
A father/son team were the 2nd owners for 35 years and it was restored in the early 2000s. It has about 35,000 miles since then.

It's sitting next to my 2500 4WD extended cab Silverado. The Suburban is about 18+ shorter than my Silverado. I love that these are built on the short pickup wheelbase of 115"

Suburban owner now for life...
