Longer e-brake cable for my lift?

I am putting my '72 4x4 back together with an 8" suspension lift and while in the process of hooking up the all too important parking brake, I notice that even if I fab up some brackets, the cable is way too short. I knew this would happen so...

My question is, is it possible to buy a longer cable assembly that goes from where it connects inside of the brake drum to where it attaches to the bracket on the frame? That piece from the rear drum is so short with the spring lift in the back that when I pull it straight up to maybe relocate the bracket more rearward, it is stretched so hard that it will rub on the springs and everything else. Any ideas?

The axle assembly is a Corp14BFF from a '75 3/4 ton chev and with a manual tranny I better get this taken care of. Thanks guys.
