Who are my DD mechanics here ? I have a ?
I just fired up a "ran when it was parked"truck with a 6v-53 ( natural ) in it. everything went fine except the water pump seized up. I see where I can buy new or rebuilt pumps, and Pump rebuild kits. my question is... can I not just put bearings and seals in it ? seems that the rebuild kits come with a shaft and impeller and are nearly as much as a rebuilt unit.
