sgt1022 Registered User Join Date: Oct 2013 Location: Palmetto, FL Posts: 107	timing question I have a GM 290hp/350 with HEI. in the installation and break in procedures GM says to disconnect and run the engine without the vacuum advance. I've never heard of this.
