Finally up and running
I finally got the '86 going. Took it Tuesday and had it tuned and dynoed. I put about 50 miles on it yesterday and it feels great. There are defiantly some things I would do differently if I do another truck like this, but overall I'm very happy with the truck. I was shooting for roughly 400 WHP and it made 373.88hp and 353tq. The only issue we're still having is sometimes it will idle down too far and have a hard time catching itself without stalling when coming to a hard stop or in stop and go traffic. Hopefully we'll get that worked out here in the next week or so. I want to say a huge thank you to everyone here. The knowledge and willingness to help is awesome. Now it's time to drive the heck out of it and enjoy it. Today is my youngest son's 10th birthday and he told me it was the best gift ever, getting to ride to school this morning in it. Makes all the hard work and money worth it.
