Additional AC compressor switch

Most modern cars have a switch that makes it possible to turn off the compressor while still running the fan. It's kind of nice to be able to turn off the compressor about a mile from home and allow the fan to continue to blow cold air on you and also dry out the evaporator.

Has anyone added an additional switch? I'm thinking of adding a latching push button switch wire into the existing compressor switch, that way you could still only activate the compressor of the levers were in the correct positions.

Something like this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/TOYOTA-COROL...=Make%3AToyota
