Question 3 Link Questions

Well since my budget has changed I have decided to go with a 3 link for a better solution than what I have.

I plan to use parallel bars mounted outside the frame rails since the existing leafs are outside. In doing so is there a certain point on the frame I should mount to? Is there a limit to how far forward they should be [behind the cab]? I'm not bagging it so coil overs will be used and I plan to drop it about 6" in the rear. Would mounting the forward point of the bars be better at just under the frame rails or should I make mounts that can give adjustments of up to 6" up or down from just under the frame?

I will be using a heavy duty wishbone to locate it and will give myself enough adjustment on the coil overs by mounting them higher or lower based on tire and wheels and for the type of driving.
