Car intake: gap beneath?
Hi guys. When I wired up the 5.3L in my '68 C-10, I ran some of the wires under the intake manifold to clean it up (02 sensors, trans harness, etc). I'm working on the wiring for a new swap that might require a car intake in the future, pending hood clearance to the truck intake that's on their now.
Do the car intakes have a gap between the bottom of the intake and the top of the valley tray like the trucks manifolds do? I'd hate to route the harness that way now, just to find out it needs to be redone if a car intake swap needs to happen later to clear the hood. Thanks, Matt |
