Front drop spring recommendation?

PO dropped front of 63 C10 with 2 inch drop springs and also cut an extra 2 inches out of them.
I'm going to install POL disk conversion kit with 2.5 drop spindles and would like to maintain the current height while eliminating the suspension from bottoming out so easily.
1)Can I go with 2.0 drop springs with 2.5 drop spindles?
2)If so, will this pose any problems? ie: suspension bottoming out so easy/limited suspension travel
3)will standard 15" 5x5 rims fit without any issues? (maybe should go with 17"?)
