67-72 chassis/frame - complete disassembly thread?
Hi Team,
Wondering if anyone on here has ever seen or knows of a thread or has pics of someone that has taken a 67-72 1/2 ton frame with rear coils completely apart for refinishing? I'm talking removed all crossmembers and rivets to break the frame down to its individual parts and components - side rails etc. Anyone know? If you know of a thread in existence, please share! Also, does anyone know if a 3/4 ton coil spring frame could be substituted in place of a 1/2 ton frame? Only difference other than side rail size being rear cab mounts, right?? BTW - looking for a lwb 67-72 1/2 ton frame with rear coils if anyone has one for sale -considering anything! So much to do but can't seem to make it 25 feet into my garage. I think it has much to do with having a 3 and a 4 year old!! Best of the season to everyone. Merry Christmas! Thanks for any replies or thoughts.
