65 control arms replacement, with stock brakes??
Trying to wade through the posts, and I still cant find a straight answer.
I bought ball joints for my 65, with stock control arms, stock drum brakes, stock ride height. However I was thinking about buying new upper and lower control arms as well. The lack of availability sucks, and I dont want to spend $1k on tubulars. I saw a few posts talking about buying 67-72 controls arms, and just putting in 60-66 ball joints if keeping the stock brakes. Now I know disc conversion is awesome, but I'm not ready to drop that kind of money right now. Do the 67-72 bolt right up? Are there any options for me, or am I stuck with crudded up and rusted control arms for now? |
