The slowest 57 build ever

Can anyone tell me if the leading edge to the step, where it meets the vertical Hinge post is square? I am trying to fit up the step, and it is tight at the rocker, and the hinge pocket panel I replaced, kind of fades away from it.
If someone with an assembled cab could put a square against the step's riser and take a picture, it would sure help.

Not much metal on the bottom of this truck I am starting with.

Thanks
