Heater feed Help Needed

Hey everyone - I am learning to do a lot of the work myself on my truck and other cars but somethings I haven't done just yet - the heater being one. My 64 looks to have the deluxe heater box from what I have seen posted in the FAQ area but is currently not connected. I need some help figuring out where the feeder hoses connect to on the block since the engine is not original to the truck (chevy 350). If this has been discussed before sorry I did search.
Took a few pics for reference on what I mean
This picture shows the heater box to the left with the 2 ports circled - my question is where do I run hoses too? Am I correct with what I circled over on the engine?
Thanks for the help

Here is another angle

Thanks for any help as always
