Standalone Emergency flashers
Guys, I'm slowly getting Hotdog updated on a couple of fronts, but Im stuck at something that I've not been able to find a clear answer for.
I know some people have used the aftermarket turn signal/hazzard combo switch that clamps onto the steering column, and also some of you have managed to get a hold of a flarestat kit. The problem I have, is that I'm kind of broke, but very resourceful. I have a harness that came out of my 96 S10 blazer, and I have lots of wiring, a fuse panel, and most importantly, a few flashers. The question is this. Can anyone provide me with a schematic on how a flasher system works? I know I should be able to add a simple toggle switch for my dash that allows me to essentially make my own system. Can anyone help? I'll do a detailed write up after the fact...
