Drove home 72 bare bones gmc shortbed

Brought the new addition home today. Its a 1972 gmc shortbed fleetside 2wd truck that has ZERO options. Straight 6 with a 3 speed on the floor. My cousin picked it up and when he brought it home the wife wasnt to happy so he sold it to another cousin who than sold it to me lol all this happend in less than 24 hours Drove it home and gave it a simple green spray down and than pressure washed it off. The oxidation was washing off like mud it was so thick. After a bath she looks alot better.

Not bad for 2k I think. The previous owner looks like they rattle canned the spots that were rusting and it has alot of runs in it. Anyone have a way to get the runs out without taking any unnecessary paint off?
