I am not doubting ECE's kit for what their application is. I have bought quite a few of my suspension components from them and know them to be very reliable. I still want to stress if you think down load could lead to problems and I know these arms can actually break (I have an acquaintance to whom this happened) they need re-inforcement on the inner part. ECE is mainly offering this part to avoid separation of the two parts of the arm because of rust and deterioration.
