Ultra Rare 1972 GMC SS Sierra
Over Easter weekend, my cousin Bunny told me about a pretty orange truck that her Grandpa Peter owned off of Rabbit Valley Road in North Georgia. She said that he bought it new back in 1972, and that is was a special order truck for his dealership, Cottontail Chevy/GMC.
He loved the '70 SS Chevelles, and using his inside contacts with the GM brass ordered what may be the one and only 1972 GMC SS-396 Sierra. The SPID confirms the odd combinations that Mr. Cottontail checked off the order box. He even ordered Hub Caps just in case he wanted to change up the looks of the SS wheels. Nice... It appears that there are a few egg stains in the glove compartment. Not sure what that means? What a truck... Cowl Induction Hood, Rear Spoiler, Stripes, Special Suspension and big block power. I have never seen one like it. I tried to buy the truck but Peter's wife April said he would be a fool to sell his truck. Oh well, maybe I will find my special truck next year. POP
