I have typically always used '73-'87 parts because they are readily available and much more affordable. Often times you can buy a complete running truck for $200-$500. Around here anything '67-'72 and particularly '71-'72, people think they are made of gold. Also I like to swap the entire suspension assembly and I prefer the '73+ rubber control arm bushings.

If you can get that entire front frame clip for $100, I would jump on it.
