Stock height 4x4 Duramax swap??
I've been kicking around the idea to do a Duramax/Allison swap in my V3500 for some time now. I've seen a few done, however I have not seen one done yet at stock height. I have no interest in lifting my truck, neither suspension nor body lift.
Is a lift required for hood clearance? Or is it just easier than building a new trans tunnel? Which I am not opposed to. Nate
