Shock question

I just finished my c notch on my 91 Suburban with leaf springs , and I'm relocating the shocks to a more vertical position with a shock bar from frame rail to frame rail. My question is, is it ok for the shock to hold up the rear suspension when the truck is raised off the ground by the frame? I'm trying to find a shock with enough travel to let the rear suspension sag all the way down when lifted up but I'm having trouble find the correct shock that will work. I searched for the Monroe shock chart but could not find it again

thanks for the help
