Re: Replacement Value vs. Actual Replacement

we insure with State Farm 4 the value of the vehicle. the trick here is the value; when we got the insurance we provided the agent with an accredited professional appraisal. we have acknowledgment of receipt and inclusion of that appraisal with the policy. the appraised value? $65,000. now if the truck gets totaled it will be kind of hard for them to come back and offer us $5k but they would and we would have to fight but we would win.

I had to do this years ago when my Little toyota pickup was totalled. It was fixed up really nice and in A+ condition. They lowballed and I fought hard to get the full value for the vehicle.
