Wheel Bearing Hub 1970 K2500

I need some information from the experts here!

We have a 970 K2500 GMC with a Dana 44 front axle and DRUM brakes and OPEN knuckles.

It appears that the outside bearing race has spun in the hub.

I have done "Field Fixes" for similar hubs in the past (Studebaker) by peening the interior race surface with a center punch, placing some JB Weld in there, then driving in the new race. It will hold for a while, but can be suspect. It's not a long term fix.

1) Where can I get a NEW or a GOOD USED replacement hub for this? It appears this may be one step above hen's teeth.....
2) Has anyone done any machining to accept a different race or larger bearing/race to accommodate this change? I have access to a full machine shop to machine a larger race surface if needed.
3) I know I can probably upgrade the front hubs to a later model with disc brakes, it's just not in the cards quite yet. If we do need to do that, please advise crossover parts and years.

Please advise opinions and suggestions!
