Sorry for your loss. I caught the date of the thread start and the date of your brother's passing. What a reminder that we can talk to folks every day and know nothing about what they're going through.

The problems you're having seem similar to problems I've experienced with faulty Hydrovacs. Pull off the vacuum hose that goes from Hydrovac to engine. If there's brake fluid in it then you need a rebuild. I used to have a short piece of brake line that I'd use to bypass the Hydrovac. It eliminated the HV as part of the problem pretty quickly. I can also tell you that we had plenty of problems with reman Hydrovacs being garbage over the years.

Man... that foot doesn't look good. I hope your clutch pedal works a lot easier than your brake.
