Valuing My Truck and Insurance Reccomendations
So I'm getting close to getting my truck on the street and I want to go ahead and get it insured. I was planning on going with Hagerty which I had used on a previous vehicle. I don't have any issues with them but if any one wants to chime in about antique vehicle insurance providers, please do.
With Hagerty I can purchase an "agreed value" policy. Some of you may have seen my build and what I have in my truck, I would like to get your input on what you would value my truck at (link to build thread in signature). To date I've have just over $9,000 in it. I've cataloged everything and kept nearly every receipt. But, I believe it's worth more than $9,000. I have a number in mind for the agreed value but I'd like to get some input. So, what would you value it at? My cost log to date: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B2...U5Lc3pma25EMkU EDIT -- I was going to say $15,000 which may be a little on the high end. I may have misunderstood "agreed value" insurance. I was under the impression that the agreed value still had to be a reasonable market value. _ Last edited by HUSSEY; 09-25-2016 at 04:56 PM. |
