Driveshaft phasing, is this right?

Hi guys I've been working away on fixing all the PO orginal work and am coming to the driveshaft.

I am installing a 10bolt rear end, and my truck has a 2pc driveshaft. I know I am going to have to get a driveshaft made because the second shaft is waaaay to short. However, the first driveshaft should be original and fits to the cross member fine, but the phasing looks waaaay off from what I've been reading online. So I want to know is this normal for our 2pc driveshafts on this truck? Or did the PO do something/cut or install a different one to accommodate the SBC350 and TH350?? Whats the original dia of the driveshaft suppose to be?? I haven't measured the first one but the second is 3".
