Big Olds engines in these trucks have been done plenty of times over the years. If I remember right the 455 uses the same engine mounts as the big block Chevy in the trucks. Don't let the size fool you about it's mileage either. They were known to get pretty good highway mpg in the big cars and with high geared rearends. Torque machines.
