Bare Block 454 sitting till warmer weather Help

I just tore down and had my cast 454 block and heads hot tanked so they are all clean and pretty. I need to paint them, but it is too cold here (28 - 40F) and I need to have them sit for a little bit (month?). I had the cylinders bored out so I definitely don't want rust to start there. What should I put in there and on the block itself to deter rust until I can get it assembled and painted? I know there are a lot of opinions out there, but hoping on some personal experience.

Thanks!
