Had to park the '72 for awhile. Gas is getting too expensive! My '72 has to run AMOCO premium (92 octane). It's ridiculous to put over $30.00 in it and it only lasts 4 or 5 days. So, I dusted off the old VW and put her back on the road. The VW gets @30mpg.

It's completely restored and gets as many looks/comments as the truck does. I was going to sell it to help finance the resto on the truck but now I think I'll just drive it. I do miss driving the truck though! And it's only been one day! Have y'all had to switch to more fuel efficient "drivers" too?
