Stepside Fender

I am finally gonna break down and buy a new fender to
replace the cut out on my stepside. Have priced a few
avg cost 400.00 + ship. Main thing is if I'm fixn to fork over
that much money I want to make sure it fits. Any suggestions
to best place to purchase. Will aslo need bolt kit to mount
it with. I have pulled both fenders off bed. In process of
sanding/primering to get it ready.Also what goes between
fender and bed? Is it seam sealer? Whatever it was that
I removed had deteriorated in some spots others came off
in big pieces dried out etc.
