1970 Jimmy Heating and AC opinion needed

Vehicle is a 1970 Jimmy with factory A/C. Has round ball vents in dash facing passengers. The vehicle is missing all components to A/C system except the heater boxes under dash and engine compartment. I don't plan on replacing the missing A/C components.

The dash has been brutally hacked up to install a CB and din style radio, which I am planning on returning to stock configuration.

I am in possession of a non-A/C dash front and components.

Questions are:
Should I replace entire dash front so it is non-A/C correct or just the radio section?

Would it be in my favor to leave the A/C ball vent section of the dash in place and somehow route vent tubes to these outlets for passenger comfort?

All opinions or ideas are wanted, thanks in advance.
JT.
