Carb choke wiring question

As some of you know, I am pulling off my edelbrock carb & intake and going back to a quadrajet & stock intake.

My question is, with the edelbrock choke, I was running a wire tapped into the wiper motor white wire, which is what I was told to do.

I do not know where the original wire is or even where it comes from. Can I use this same wire hookup on the electric choke of the quadrajet, or is there a better place to run the wire for it from?

Thanks
Tommy Davis
