I got a box from Ohio today with parts for my Chevelle that were broken to **** and the guy claimed they were packed good enough. They weren't and I'm afraid UPS will deny the claim. Then I will have to find a way to extract my $165 from the seller.

UPS is absolutely going to deny the claim and they will want the shipper to make the claim and not you, I have only had one shipment damaged that I shipped, they make it so difficult that you will never get anything from them.
I received one damaged shipment and they made that so difficult it wasn’t worth it, they also close the claim with a denial real quick and then you have to call, get the whole runaround to try to re-open the claim.
Insurance on a UPS package isn’t useless too unless it’s lost.
Anyway these grills are right at the large package surcharge size so packing it tight to the grill is critical as the surcharge is $70. I plan on gluing up a reinforced box for it.
