Is it worth putting a 383 in front of my SM465 4x4?

Looking for opinions for my daily driver K20 350/sm465 with a np205 and 3.73 gears and 32” tires.
I currently have a tired and leaky 350 that I drive 30 miles to work daily for the Salt free months here in Wisconsin. I’d like to replace the engine soon and I am considering a 383, either GM crate or have one built locally. I rarely tow anything heavier than my aluminum fishing boat or lawn tractor.
I’d like to have that feeling of being pushed back in the seat when I drop the hammer occasionally. I just wonder if the 383 would do that with the gear spacing of the 465??
The small extra cost of the 383 over a 350 doesn’t bother me as I’m 43 and never plan on selling my truck.
Thanks for any input!
