Correct oil filter?

1969 gmc - Need a little help as I have an oil leak and believe it might be coming from the rear pan or oil filter. I have often suspected the oil filter as it seems too small but unsure if I’m getting the right size. The Po said it was a remanufactured engine which came from a mid 80 Scottsdale. It’s a v8 with block # m09092vp and use Fran xg5.

Any help if I’m using the right size is appreciated. I tried to decode it with no luck. It could also be an oil pan seal as the valve cover gasket is dry.

Thanks
