Which Harmonic ?

Gonna try to make this short... the 350 I have has a 6 3/4 by1 5/8 it had a long pump. With short pump and stock pulleys nothin' lines up. Tried a/market chrome pulleys same thing. So I got a 6 3/4 x 1 1/4 and a 8 x 1 1/4. Which one to get it to line up. Has p/s also. If 6 3/4 isn't right then 7'' just readin' the rule! LOL!!! Tried shimmin' and both pumps with all the pulleys. Always a half a groove off one way or the other. With the thicker harmonic do i have to go with the larger diameter to offset the half inch in thickness or does it matter? Whew alot of spellin' for a hillybilly!!! Thanks in advance Weasel.
