Airride 4 way on a budget
I currently have a 2 way AirRide Technologies suspension setup that is cool and all, but I want it to be better.
How can I convert to a 4 way, without the ugly 4 switches and 2 gauges under the dash but still have the ability to see my air levels and control all 4? I am asking first off because with the 2 way, the air can go from side to side if cornering and I would rather not have that due to rubbing. And secondly I don't really like the current setup under the dash. I have seen 4 way valves with controllers for $500+ and then a gauge set that is discrete for $400 so that is $900+ just to go 4 way. Am I missing something? I almost wish I could go to a static drop, or tub out the rear just a little bit to make it better but hoping someone will have some advice. Here is a couple of picks of what I am dealing with. I also am testing a spacer to push the wheel out some but have not decided to keep them just yet. This is without the spacer This is with This is with some of the suspension aired up, not drive height though. Gap without spacer which is why I am so concerned - it does rub with this wheel and tire combo. Air out and wheel is touching the fender trim. |
