Rear Brake Line Routing
Ok guys, need a sanity check here. I am installing my rear Wilwoods and ready to run ss hard line back, then split out to braided hoses (flex) to calipers. I know the normal route is to flex down to rear end and run hard line out to either end of axle, then flex to calipers - but, is there any reason not to run hard line back along frame, then split directly across frame cross member, and then flex to calipers (from frame instead of axle tube? I think with a lot of travel this might be an issue, requiring a long braided line, but with coil overs and lowered, shouldn't be that much travel. Thoughts? Anyone done this, got pics?
Thanks, Jim
