Had some time today to run the casting and block # on the motors that came in this stash. We have two 400 small blocks and most likely the original 350 out of the Cheyenne. The TDJ is listed as a 1972 c10/c20 motor. It's also listed as a van/bus motor in 1980. I'll do a little more digging and hopefully I can rule out the 1980 date.

I am pretty sure they went to smaller casting pad by the head by 1980. Yours being the long pad I would be pretty confident it’s a 72 block. I see it’s a 4 bolt main block with the 1/4 inch fitting above the timing chain cover.
