What LSx front accessories fit without modification?? - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I'm just now realizing there's not a lot of room for accessories under the hood of the 1948 Chevy 3100 pickup.

What 5.3/6.0/6.2 etc fits with all necessary accessories?

I would like to run a 2007-2013 truck 5.3 with 6L80. I think they will have everything needed (AC + PS). And hopefully the accessories will fit as-is under the hood and between the fenders??

The gen 5 motors (2014-newer?) seem to be lacking a power steering pump, and a lot of guys have been relocating the AC compressor as well? Why is that? Looks like the relocated accessories won't fit in the 3100 with the available aftermarket brackets?
