I got Blazed last night
I've been Blazer hunting for a short while, found a decent 77 2wd this weekend. Needs some body work, looks like I'm going to learn how to paint. Worked on the engine last night (350 w/ a Quadrajet). I'll rebuild the carb & give it a tune up this weekend, ought to get it running smooth.
See if that picture works. A cool history on the Blazer. A couple years ago a good friend of mine was looking for one. The mom of one of my wife's best friends was selling hers. She wanted too much & he didn't have enough. Saturday when we pulled up to the guy's house, my wife recognized it immediately. He said he bought it a couple years ago from a lady who had owned it for 20 years. That's it! My wife grew up in this truck, even learned how to drive in it. Anyways, this one is staying mild, I need it for a daily. Just need to get the engine running good, fix a few minor things, & get the paint & body looking good so I can park it near my house. More pics to come.
