Hotrod70C10 Low & Slow Join Date: Dec 2002 Location: Oklahoma Posts: 1,047	Question about The new "thicker" Repro Fleetside Tailgates Hey everyone, I just picked up a Repro Fleetside Tailgate for my truck and it is supposed to be thicker stampings compared to the previous ones. My question is are these things thinner than the OEM tailgates? Mine seems to be thinner but, it doesn't seem to be weak. The guy at the local "classic" shop told me that they don't carry the thin ones because they were junk, Which is what I have heard from everyone else. __________________ 70' C-10 LWB Fleetside 4.5/6 drop
