helper springs
i assume these helper springs on top in picture below? everything looks kinda rigged to me. this is my first truck project so have no idea also i read alot of people just cutting off the old u-bolts to drop the rear, i cut one ubolt today and thing souded like gun going off when broke through. is there any danger of the springs seperating and flying out? i know they pretty rusty and only have one clamp in the front dont see anything holding them together in the rear.shouldnt there be spring clamps in the rear too? i got all the weight off of springs and was just wondering before i cut the rest of the bolts off so i dont get killed lol.
